IPL (INTENSE PULSED LIGHT)

IPL stands for intense pulsed light. It operates akin to laser hair removal but is significantly easier and safer for home use. Our IPL handsets emit wavelengths that target hair pigment. When absorbed, the light transforms into heat, effectively eliminating hair growth cells. With consistent use, hair regrowth becomes slower and sparser, leading to permanent reduction over time.

IPL is a widely recognized and extensively researched method for safe and efficient long-term hair removal. Our IPL handsets have received FDA clearance for safe usage at home and are additionally certified by FCC, CE, & RoHS. Rest assured, Raze hair removal does not pose any risk of cancer or other long-term complications associated with UV exposure. Our devices filter out all UV rays to safeguard your skin during treatments.

Most users notice reduced hair growth within 3-4 sessions, with complete results usually visible after 12 sessions. Some experience exceptionally smooth and hair-free skin after approximately 12 treatments, allowing them to say goodbye to their razors indefinitely. Others may require occasional touch-ups, which is completely normal. With Raze's lifespan exceeding 10 years and Lumi's surpassing 30 years, you have the flexibility to perform touch-ups whenever necessary, for as long as you wish. Following the instructions for your Raze IPL handset guarantees a long-term reduction in hair growth.

Our recommendation is to undergo IPL treatment once a week for 12 consecutive weeks. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can use it up to twice a week for expedited results. After the initial 12-week treatment period, utilize your IPL handset once a month for the following three months, or as required. Subsequently, anticipate using your IPL handset for touch-ups as you notice any new hair growth, typically once every 2-3 months.

Our handsets feature dual voltage compatibility (110V~240V), making them suitable for use worldwide. Each Raze IPL Handset is equipped with a 12V power supply that includes the appropriate plug type for your country.

Shaving is a crucial step in prepping your skin for IPL. It trims your hair just enough to prevent burns while keeping the root intact beneath the surface for IPL targeting. Unlike waxing and tweezing, which remove the hair root entirely and hinder IPL treatment, shaving is ideal. However, if the area you're treating is already smooth and hairless, shaving isn't required.

SAFETY

Anyone under 18 years old should seek parental consent and an expert opinion from an aesthetician or dermatologist before using Raze.

We advise against conducting IPL treatment over extremely dark freckles or moles, but usually, light freckles are acceptable.

We discourage using IPL treatment directly over tattoos, as it may lead to painful burns. However, it's safe to maneuver around tattoos to treat surrounding areas.

If you've recently tanned, we suggest waiting for two weeks before using your Raze IPL handset. Similarly, if you plan on tanning after IPL treatment, it's advisable to wait for 48 hours.

Please, consult with your doctor before using Raze (or any other IPL Laser) if you have a skin condition.

SHIPPING

Delivery times differ based on your location, with most orders arriving within 2-8 business days. Should your item exceed 15 business days in transit, please reach out to us at hello@tryraze.com, and we'll verify the status for you.

We are currently charging a flat rate of £5 for Shipping all over the UK.

Our aim is to send out all orders within 1-3 business days, and each order includes tracking from dispatch to delivery. We package all items securely to prevent damage during transit. While we're not liable for delays, lost or damaged shipments, or orders sent to incorrect addresses, we're here to help.

We will send you a tracking number to your email once your package has been shipped.

Typically, you won't incur any customs fees. However, these charges are beyond our control and vary depending on local government regulations. If your order is subjected to customs charges, you're responsible for covering them.

We offer easy, no-questions-asked returns on all Raze IPL Lasers, just email us and we'll get started!

All Raze products come with a one-year warranty. Should your device experience any malfunctions or defects within this period, we'll provide a free replacement. Simply email us at hello@tryraze.com to initiate the process.
